The next two prints were so welded to the hotspot i needed to almost saw them off. The final damage to the sheet was more than i thought a user would tolerate so the sheel was sent to the big recycler in the (Sky) county.
In reality i could only blogh 80% of what really came off this single sheet as some of it was locked under IP rules (Company secret products) and i could not show them in the blog for commercial reasons.
So I can say with confidence with care you should get at least 200 models from one sheet. But a hot spot on the table may cause the sheet to craze locally.
Best Regards

Monday
Nine LED Bezels.
This is a whit ABS from eBay it demonstrated what we have said about changes in chemical composition, amounts of plasticizers and dye having detremental or catalytic effects to the tack level.
With no pigment this stuff sticks like glue i almost couldn't get it off the Gekko sheet. I imagine this would work well with the perf board, unlike the white that came with the Up which was a far inverior plastic. Which is strange usually the manufacturers product is better. Hay Ho.
Count is not 194 models from one Gekko sheet. It is starting to show a small Hot spot about 20mm from the centre at 3 oclock. it will be interesting to see how much further the sheet goes before i do finally condemn it and start with another. I will try and get to 300 but only if the sheet really is working well. (I hate manufacturers who make claims that can only be repeated in laboratory)
Thursday More Jigs
Finally Got the design im happy with so the engraving / PCB drilling machine is having nice orange ones on it.
Count Is now 185. (I made two but you cant tell so i will claim 1.

Friday
Three runs of 16 threaded insert ( I ran a tap through each hole at the end)
These are inserted into the base table of my miller / PCB driller so that a PCB can be accurately bolted to the table.
Two MDF sheets one with holes one with hexagons in matching places.
The ABS stops the drills breaking (Started this idea with brass inserts). The hexagon in the bottom MDF sheet stops the inserts turning as you tighten the allen screw.
Count is 148 models from one Gekko board.
